With over 20 years of relic hunting experience I have accumulated some amazing relics from the American Civil War and one of my greatest joys is sharing that passion with like minded individuals.

Through my YouTube channel, countless individuals have expressed their desire to be able to come and detect for Civil War relics whether it be on land or in the water. The demands of day to day life however often make it difficult for an aspiring Civil War relic hunter to find the time for the logistics of researching, locating, obtaining permission and scouting a productive Civil War site.

With that in mind I am now offering guided one on one Civil War Relic hunting trips and a "Water Hunting 101" course/hunt. These trips are recommended for both beginners and experienced diggers alike who have either never had the opportunity to dig Civil War relics or who would like to learn the techniques, tools and skills needed to become successful at hunting for relics in the water while searching for relics associated with our countries bloodiest conflict.

Land hunting trips are trips to sites I am actively hunting for Civil War relics. During these trips I will be available to answer questions, and offer insight into the best techniques for not only finding relics at this site, but also tips as to how you might go about more efficiently finding relics in your area. While there are no guaranteed finds in relic hunting, I can guarantee that you will be digging in a site that saw activity during the Civil War, has the potential to produce relics and a site that I am actively hunting. The site locations will vary from trip to trip depending on site conditions(grass height/thickness of woods due to season,) but if there is a specific type of site you would prefer to hunt (winter camps/battle locations/Confederate sites) we can discuss it before hand and I will try my best to accommodate your wishes.

"Water Hunting 101" trips are full day trips to sites I am actively hunting for Civil War relics. During these trips I will work one on one with you to ensure that you gain a full understanding of the tools, techniques, skills, tips and tricks needed to become a successful and efficient water relic hunter. We will also cover water safety, the importance of leaving no trace and the laws pertaining to metal detecting in the water. On top of all of that, we will be hunting for Civil War relics in areas that are rich with Civil War history!!!

A boat and a high strength neodymium  magnet can be made available for your use if needed during the day of the hunt.A full list of recommended gear and information will be provided prior to the hunt.

Participants on any of the hunts will be required to sign a waiver and to provide their own transportation to and from the meeting site. It is recommended that you pack a light lunch, and any water or snacks you might require.

​

Booking must be made at least one week prior to hunt date.

Land Hunting trips $100 a day

"Water Hunting 101" trips $150

($100 a day for each additional day.)
